Black Springs Public School

We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, the largest of the Aboriginal nations on whose land in and around Black Springs we live, learn, work and play. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging as they hold the memories the stories, the culture and the wisdom of those who have walked before us and who understand and care for Country. This land will always belong to our First Nations people and it is now our moral responsibility to look, listen, learn, love and lead so that we can walk together and work together to create a strong and harmonious future for emerging generations. We have the privilege of enjoying the beauty of Country here on the Great Dividing Range and promise to take care of the spiky echidnas, wary wombats, brilliant birds, silver wattle and gum trees just as our Aboriginal ancestors have done for thousands of years before us.
